Don’t wait for opportunities. Heard it somewhere, right? So what should you actually wait for?
Short answer? Nothing. And that changes everything.
Because when you wait, you’re not just delaying action.
You’re delaying learning.
And most learning begins the same way: by asking.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Most people aren’t stuck because they’re incapable.
They’re stuck because they never ask clearly enough. They keep waiting for the right moment to ask.
The problem?
Most people show up with a teaspoon. 🥄
They hope. They wish. They wait.
Think about it:
- You don’t fail because you lack talent.
- You don’t fail because there isn’t enough opportunity.
- You fail because your asks are vague, hesitant, and unclear.
Asking is not a weakness. Asking is a skill.
So, if you want to trade your teaspoon for at least a bucket 🪣, follow these two rules:
1. Ask with intelligence.
Be specific. Be intentional. Vague goals produce vague results. When you clearly define what you want, you don’t just wish for it; you start moving towards it. And clarity is power.
2. Ask with faith.
Not blind optimism, but childlike belief backed by adult planning. Make plans like a pro. Believe in them like a child.
This shift changes everything: how you approach people, learning, and growth.
So, for the next 3 months, try to do this:
Ask more clearly. Ask better. Ask intentionally.
You might be surprised how much was already available to you once you stopped showing up with a teaspoon.
